Q: Can I mix screw compressor oil with reciprocating compressor oil?
A: Never. Reciprocating compressors run much hotter and require an ashless formula to prevent carbon coking on valves. Screw compressors require strong cooling and water separation. Mixing them will cause catastrophic failure.
Q: Should I choose ISO VG 32 or 46 for my screw compressor?
A: VG 32 offers better fluidity and energy savings in cold or temperate climates. VG 46 provides a thicker, more resilient seal for high-temperature tropical environments.
