In heavy-duty reducers, crushers, and stamping presses, gear teeth endure massive torque and violent shock impacts. Standard oils are quickly squeezed out, leading to destructive metal-to-metal contact. The LOUTANCE TOL Series employs highly refined base oils heavily fortified with Extreme Pressure (EP) anti-wear additives, customized for the most punishing industrial conditions.
Ultimate Anti-Wear: Forms an incredibly rugged oil film that prevents micro-pitting, scoring, and wear on gear teeth faces, exponentially extending physical gear life under extreme loads.
Excellent Anti-Foaming: Vigorously suppresses foam generated by high-speed gear rotation, ensuring continuous, unbroken lubrication and preventing oil overflow from the gearbox.
Oxidation Stability: Highly resistant to thermal breakdown at elevated operating temperatures, significantly reducing the formation of oil sludge and drastically extending drain intervals.

Q: Why do large stamping presses require TOL 320 or 460?
A: Large presses generate immense, instantaneous shock loads. Higher viscosity oils (320/460) provide a much thicker fluid cushion and higher Weld Load capacity (Pb value), preventing the shock from pitting or breaking the gear teeth.
