Synthetic PAO grades covering the 2 cSt to 100 cSt kinematic viscosity range at 100°C are available for blenders formulating extended-drain engine oils, high-temperature gear lubricants, aviation lubricants, and low-temperature hydraulic fluids requiring performance characteristics beyond the capability of mineral base stocks.
